Acceptable Use Policy

These rules govern how you may use Rolelanded. They form an integral part of the Terms of Service and apply to every user of the Platform.

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) governs all access to and use of the Platform. This AUP forms an integral part of the Terms of Service. By accessing or using the Platform, the User agrees to comply with this AUP. The Company reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate access for any violation of this AUP at its sole discretion. The terms that are not expressly defined herein shall have the meaning prescribed to them in the Terms of Service.

This AUP shall be read together with the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, applicable Data Processing Agreement, and the EULA, all of which are incorporated herein by reference. In the event of any conflict between this AUP and the Terms of Service with respect to conduct and prohibited use, this AUP shall prevail. For all other matters, the Terms of Service shall prevail.

1. Purpose and Scope

This AUP establishes mandatory rules governing User conduct on the Platform. The Platform is designed exclusively for AI-driven interview advisory and preparatory services. The Platform is not a recruitment service, employment marketplace, or evaluation tool. Any use inconsistent with the intended advisory purpose is strictly prohibited. The Company may monitor usage patterns, enforce technical safeguards, and take corrective measures to ensure compliance with this AUP. Enforcement decisions are made solely at the Company’s discretion.

2. Lawful Use Requirement

Users shall use the Platform only for lawful purposes. Users shall comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations, including but not limited to laws relating to data protection, privacy, intellectual property, contractual obligations, confidentiality, and recording consent. The Platform may not be used to facilitate fraud, misrepresentation, impersonation, unlawful surveillance, harassment, defamation, or any criminal or civil wrongdoing. The Company disclaims liability for unlawful conduct undertaken by Users.

3. Account Integrity and Access Restrictions

Each User may maintain only one active account unless expressly authorized in writing by the Company. Creation of multiple accounts, use of aliases, or circumvention of account restrictions is prohibited. Account sharing is strictly prohibited. Users shall not disclose login credentials or permit third parties to access their accounts. Users are responsible for all activity conducted under their accounts. The use of bots, automated scripts, scraping tools, crawlers, or any automated access mechanism is strictly prohibited. Attempts to bypass technical restrictions, usage limits, or Credit systems are material violations of this AUP.

4. Payment and Credit Misuse

Users shall not attempt to manipulate, exploit, or abuse the Credit-based access system. Circumventing payment requirements, exploiting free trial limitations, initiating fraudulent chargebacks, or interfering with payment processing mechanisms is prohibited. The Company reserves the right to suspend accounts associated with disputed or reversed payments pending investigation. Fraudulent payment behavior may result in permanent termination and legal action.

5. Prohibited Content

Users shall not upload, submit, transmit, or generate content that:

Violates intellectual property rights, including copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, or proprietary rights.

Discloses confidential employer information, proprietary interview materials, or third-party confidential data without lawful authorization.

Contains unlawful, defamatory, harassing, abusive, discriminatory, obscene, or harmful material.

Includes malicious code, viruses, malware, spyware, or any harmful software components.

Impersonates another person or misrepresents affiliation with any entity.

The Company does not pre-screen content but reserves the right to remove or restrict access to content that violates this AUP.

6. Confidentiality and Employer Materials

Users are strictly prohibited from uploading confidential employer documents, proprietary hiring frameworks, trade secrets, or restricted materials unless legally authorized to do so. Users must ensure that participation in interview simulations does not breach non-disclosure agreements, employment contracts, or other confidentiality obligations. The Company assumes no responsibility for unauthorized disclosures by Users and may suspend accounts associated with such violations.

7. Recording and Privacy Compliance

If a User uses the Platform in connection with recording or simulating real interviews, the User must comply with all applicable laws governing recording, consent, and privacy in their jurisdiction. The Company does not verify recording legality and disclaims responsibility for unlawful recording practices. Users bear full responsibility for obtaining required consents prior to recording or capturing any audio, generating transcripts, or screen content (including screen captures).

8. Security and System Integrity

Users shall not interfere with, disrupt, or compromise the security or integrity of the Platform. Prohibited actions include attempting unauthorized access, probing vulnerabilities, performing penetration testing without authorization, overloading infrastructure, or initiating denial-of-service attacks. Users shall not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or extract source code, algorithms, system architecture, or proprietary logic from the Platform. The Company may implement monitoring tools to detect suspicious activity. Security-related violations may result in immediate suspension without notice.

9. AI System Misuse

Users shall not use the AI system to generate unlawful content, manipulate outputs for deceptive purposes, or test the system for adversarial exploitation. Users shall not attempt to extract underlying model behavior, conduct benchmarking against competing systems, or use the Platform to train or develop competing products or services. AI Outputs are advisory in nature. Users shall not represent AI Outputs as certified professional advice or as official employer-endorsed evaluations.

10. Local Installation Restrictions

Users shall not modify, tamper with, decompile, alter, or create derivative works of the locally installed AI agent. Users shall not use local installation to bypass credit controls, payment systems, usage limitations, or technical safeguards. Users shall not attempt to extract underlying model parameters, prompts, configuration files, or system logic from the local installation.

11. Data Misuse and Privacy Violations

Users shall not upload personal data of third parties without lawful authority. Users shall not use the Platform to collect, harvest, or store personal information of other individuals. The Platform does not permit scraping, aggregation, or resale of any content or data. Any attempt to extract data at scale is prohibited. Users must not misuse stored interview logs, transcripts, or outputs for unlawful dissemination or commercial exploitation.

12. Enterprise Account Responsibilities

Enterprise Users are responsible for ensuring that all authorized candidate accounts comply with this AUP. Enterprise Users shall not use session data to rank, evaluate, certify, or publicly profile candidates unless expressly permitted by the Company. Misuse by associated users may result in suspension of the entire enterprise account.

13. Enforcement and Remedies

The Company reserves the right to investigate suspected violations of this AUP. The Company may suspend, restrict, or permanently terminate accounts without prior notice. The Company may remove content, restrict access to Credits, block IP ranges, or implement technical countermeasures to protect the Platform. The Company may cooperate with law enforcement authorities where required by law. Enforcement actions are taken at the Company’s sole discretion and do not create any obligation to monitor or police User conduct.

14. Reporting Violations

Users may report suspected violations through the contact mechanisms provided on the Platform. The Company may determine appropriate action in response to such reports.

15. Modifications to the AUP

The Company reserves the right to modify this AUP at any time. Continued use of the Platform after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated AUP. Failure to comply with this AUP constitutes a material breach of the Terms of Service and may result in suspension, termination, forfeiture of Credits, and legal action.
